本数据库数据来源于2007-2012年科技部基础性工作专项重点项目“人体生理常数数据库扩大人群调查”( 2006FY110300 )中的心电调查部分。受试者来源于四川、黑龙江、湖南、云南、宁夏和内蒙古六省 20 市县，包括汉、藏、朝鲜、土家、 蒙古，彝族、回族和苗族等民族。其年龄范围为 8 ～ 80 岁。项目采用多阶段、分层、随机抽样方法进行抽样，保证数据具有人群代表性。本数据库中心电总样本数超过35 000。

The data in this database originates from the electrocardiogram (ECG) survey component of the key project "Expanded Population Survey for Human Physiological Constant Database" (2006FY110300), which was funded by the Special Program for Basic Work of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China during 2007–2012. Study participants were recruited from 20 cities and counties across six provinces (Sichuan, Heilongjiang, Hunan, Yunnan, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region), encompassing multiple ethnic groups including Han, Tibetan, Korean, Tujia, Mongolian, Yi, Hui, and Miao. The age of the participants spans from 8 to 80 years old. The project utilized a multi-stage, stratified random sampling approach to guarantee the population representativeness of the dataset. The total number of ECG samples in this database exceeds 35,000.
