Gene expression profiling of LNCaP cells following short term shRNA-mediated knockdown of TMEFF2 and growth in presence and absence of dihydrotestosterone

Analysis of RNA expression in LNCaP cells expressing shTMEFF2 to define its trancriptome. We report global changes in the AR-signaling transcriptome in response to shRNA targeted to TMEFF2. Overall design: LNCaP cells expressing shScramble or shTMEFF2-3. Cells were grown in RPMI containing 10% charcoal-stripped FBS for 24 hours beginning at 24 hours after transductions. Cells were then grown in RPMI containing 10% charcoal-stripped FBS with the addition of 10 nM DHT or .0001% EtOH for 24 hours prior to RNA extraction. Each sample was run in tiplicate.
