Visium spatial transcriptome analysis of the developing chick brain

To clarify the brain development during evolution,it is necessary to analyze and compare aspects such as the neurogenesis, differentiation and migration of neurons during development, and the formation of neural circuits between different species. In particular, detailed studies of differences in gene expression will provide valuable information. This project explores Visium in the developing chick brains and compares them with the mouse data. This analysis allows us to infer which genes were involved in the formation of the unique layers of the mammalian brain during brain evolution and to gain insight into the mechanisms of mammalian brain evolution.
