Nowadays, there is no published chromosome-level genome of Blaps rhynchopetera.Therefore, we generated the high-quality gene assembly of B. rhynchopetera byNanopore sequencing, and Hi-C technology, complementing the chromosomal-level genomic information of Coleoptera. Comparative genomic analysis with available data from other insects can elucidate the evolutionary histories and phylogenetic relationships related to B. rhynchopetera. This study also provides valuable information for further studies on genetic basis and the molecular mechanism of evolution. Additionally, obtaining information on the genome of it will be beneficial for understanding environmental adaptations and evolutionary characteristics of B. rhynchopetera and helping farmers and businesses to develop breeding strategies.
