Data related to the research article "Crack mitigating strategy in directed energy deposition of refractory complex concentrated CrNbTiZr alloy" (https://doi.org/10.3390/ma18153653). The article’s figures were produced solely from these datasets using the data processing methods described therein. High-resolution photographic and SEM images (Figs. 1a, 3a, 2ab, 3bc, 4, and 6) are available directly within the published article (both PDF and online versions). The '.csv' files containing data corresponding to Figs. 3a, 5, 7, 8a, and 8b are labelled so that their filenames include the figure designation followed by the represented physical quantity. The first data row indicates the material and/or experimental conditions, the second row lists the x- and y-axis titles, and the numerical data begin in the third row.
