资源简介:

Description of Measurement Measurements from four instances of the Melexis MLX90640 infrared array sensor for different target object temperatures. The measurement experiment uses the FLUKE 4180 infrared calibration source as the target object. We start at temperature setting 10 °C, measure and then increase by 5 °C, up to 110 °C. We operate the sensor device using a Raspberry Pi Pico HW running a custom micropython program. We read data off of the Pico to a MacBook Pro 14" M1 using a custom Python program as a BLE client. We use the Keithley 2281-S-20-6 Precision DC Supply as power source for the Pico and sensor. Totals: 5 raw frames x 4 sensors x 21 target temperatures Measurement Date: 2025-01-27- Experiment Start Date and Time: 2025-01-27 11:30 GMT- Experiment End Date and Time: 2025-01-28 18:00 GMT File formats:- Raw TXT files- Processed CSV and Parquet files. Measurement Process For each temperature we do the following:1. Wait eight to ten minutes for temperature stability of the calibration source.2. Connect the sensor under test using to the Pico via I2C connection.3. Place the sensor in the measuring position of the breadboard.4. Supply the Pico with 5 V on the VBUS pin. This also powers up the sensor. The Pico boots to the custom MicroPython code in less than one second, also advertising the Bluetooth server.5. Run the custom Python program on the MacBook. This, 1. Connects to the Pico, 2. reads the calibration data to the MacBook, 3. requests five measurements from the sensor, 4. reads the raw measurement data from the five measurements.6. We copy this data to the data file.7. Power down the Pico and sensor instance (from the Keithley 2281-S-20-6).8. Remove sensor from measuring position.9. Proceed to next sensor and Step 2. Otherwise proceed to next target object temperature and Step 1. - Sensors are identified using the sensor_id in EEDATA- The field of view of the sensors is fully within the ~15 cm infrared-source near-dark-body disk. - The apparent emissivity setting in the FLUKE 4180 is set to 0.95 throughout the experiment.- For each source temperature configuration, we waited 8-10 minutes for temperature stability. (Intervals were 5 °C.)- The data includes ambient temperature readings from the FLUKE 289 thermocouple. The thermocouple was fixed on a copper block with dimensions 9.46 mm x 50 mm x 50 mm, for better temperature stability.- The distance between the sensor and the target was 10 cm.- The MLX90640 instances were of the Adafruit breakout board type.- Materials around the sensor were protected from infrared radiation using Superwool HT.
