NRS-4858 | Sanitary inspection files

These files relate to the administration of health regulations under the Public Health Act, 1902. They are generally arranged according to the municipality, shire or town in which sanitary inspections were made. The correspondence includes health inspection reports, departmental decisions, annotated maps, plans and photographs. Occasionally correspondence from citizens, representations from members of Parliament, and transcripts of meetings between the Minister and local citizens may be found. Other files, which differ from those described above, concern qualifications of Health Inspectors, investigations and prosecutions under the Health Acts, Noxious Trades, duties of Health Officers, and minutes, papers and reports of the Advisory Technical Committee on the Pollution of Navigable Waters.(12/5558-73, 8/1356-70, 18/3975.3). 32 boxes.
