opto-7: tDCS effects on spontaneous firing (optotagged)
收藏资源简介:
Experiment: Immediate effects of anodal and cathodal tDCS on spontaneous firing of optotagged glutamatergic and GABAergic neurons Description: This experiment aimed to evaluate the immediate impact of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on the spontaneous firing activity of optogenetically identified neurons in the primary somatosensory cortex (S1). Short pulses of anodal and cathodal tDCS were applied at randomized intensities (±50, ±100, ±150, and ±200 μA). Each stimulation pulse consisted of a 5 s ramp-up, 5 s steady-state, and 5 s ramp-down phase, followed by 10 s without stimulation. In total, 15 stimulation blocks were delivered per intensity and polarity, over approximately 3000 seconds of continuous recording. No sensory or optogenetic stimulation was applied during the protocol, allowing isolation of tDCS effects on ongoing neuronal activity.
