Expected changes to shopping behavior among UK consumers 2021-2022

In 2022, nearly half of consumers in the United Kingdom (UK) expected their shopping behavior to change in some way, shape, or form, compared to previous years. In 2021, at nearly 40 percent, the most common expected change among UK shoppers was that they would visit physical stores less frequently. One year after, the number decreased to 21 percent. One in four shoppers believed they would buy more on Amazon.co.uk, four percentage points less than in 2021
