Organoids were generated in vitro using a tissue sample from a patient with undifferentiated carcinoma of the pancreas. High-depth targeted gene sequencing was performed on these organoids to determine whether subclonal populations could be resolved to explain the metabolic heterogeneity detected with optical metabolic imaging (OMI).
