资源简介:
Ralstonia solanacearum is a widespread agent of bacterial wilt (BW) in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) and causes substantial worldwide losses, particularly in tropical regions. To study the potential mechanism of plant resistance to R. solanacearum, we inoculated resistant(Hawaii 7996) and susceptible(M82) tomato plants with a highly aggressive strain RsH(Wang et al.,2018) in Guangzhou (south of China). Four-week-old tomato plants were inoculated with a bacterial suspension (107 cfu/ml) via the soil-soak method, while control plants were mock-inoculated with water, and subsequently, the infected tomato plants were grown in greenhouse-controlled conditions (26 °C, 16 h light and 8 h night). Root and stem tissues of resistant (Hawaii 7996) and susceptible (M82) tomato plants were collected at 0 dpi, 3 dpi and 5 dpi after infection with R. solanacearum strain RsH. The tissues were immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -80 °C. Total RNAs in different samples were extracted using TRIzol reagent (Invitrogen). Samples were sequenced on the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform and paired-end reads were generated. Our data will also act as a valuable dataset for those interested in R. solanacearum-tomato interactions.
