The effect of berberine upon 3T3L1 preadipocytes differentiation

Berberin has been shown to inhibit 3T3L1 preadipocytes differentiation. This study aims to determine the genes regulated by berberine and clarify the possible molecular mechanism underlying the action. MDI (including Isobutylmethylxanthine, dexamethasone and insulin) was added to induce 3T3L1 preadipocytes differentiation. And berberine was added to treated 3T3L1 preadipocytes during MDI-induced differentiaiton period.
