Total active patents for Indian Oil Corporation FY 2015-2022

In the financial year 2022, Indian Oil Corporation Limited had a total of 1410 active patents to its credit. The number of active patents increased steadily since the financial year 2015. A rise in the number of employees working for the research and development department was also witnessed. IOCL entered into a research partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Simon Fraser University, Canada, and Deakin University, Australia for collaborative research purposes.
