<b>Floristic dynamics of the herbaceous vegetation on tall termite mounds in Zambezi dry forest: effects of anthropogenic disturbances</b>

This dataset accompanies the study on herbaceous plant dynamics on tall termite mounds in the Zambezi dry forest (Lubumbashi, Upper Katanga, DRC). It includes 586 floristic surveys conducted on 74 mounds, covering three microhabitats (base, slope, top) and four disturbance levels (slightly to very heavily disturbed).The dataset provides species abundance for 77 herbaceous species and their functional traits, along with comparisons to historical inventories from approximately 60 years ago. These data allow analyses of disturbance effects on species composition, functional traits, and ecological strategies, offering a resource to explore biodiversity patterns and resilience of herbaceous communities on termite mounds in this tropical dry woodland region.
