"Current dataset study contains 100 survey responses gathered from academic, administrative, and teaching staff across several private universities in Rajasthan, India. The instrument used a structured questionnaire with two parts: (a) demographic information, covering gender, age group, designation, department, years of experience, institution, and nature of work; and (b) 21 statements measuring seven constructs related to organizational change and staff engagement. These constructs include Readiness for Change, Employee Participation in the Change Process, Change-related Communication Effectiveness, Leadership Support during Change, Overall Change Management Practices, Employee Commitment to Change, and Employee Engagement. Each statement was rated on a five-point Likert scale ranging from \u201cStrongly Disagree\u201d (1) to \u201cStrongly Agree\u201d (5). The survey aimed to explore how structured change initiatives, communication quality, leadership support, and staff participation affect engagement levels in higher-education workplaces. Responses were stored in tabular form, with columns representing demographic variables and coded items (e.g., RC1\u2013RC3, EPCP1\u2013EPCP3, \u2026, EE1\u2013EE3). The dataset enables quantitative analysis such as descriptive statistics, reliability testing, correlation, and regression or SEM modeling to assess the relationships between change management practices and employee engagement. Researchers and practitioners can reuse the data to validate instruments, compare findings across sectors, or design interventions that strengthen staff commitment during organizational transitions. All participants were informed about the academic purpose of the research, and participation was voluntary with consent recorded. The dataset offers a valuable resource for scholars interested in organizational behavior, human resource management, and higher-education administration within the Indian context."
