Marine Debris In Alaska : Coordinating Our Efforts

The extended abstracts in this book help coordinators organize marine debris prevention and removal in Alaska, including education and outreach. The book summarizes a 2008 Alaska marine debris workshop, where attendees representing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Alaska conservation groups, Alaska tribal organizations, removal technology and chemistry experts, and recycling industry shared information on marine debris problems and the efforts to clean up beaches.
