Raw data used to generate figures for paper titled "The mycobacterium lipid transporter MmpL3 is dimeric in detergent solution, SMALPs and reconstituted nanodiscs."

The data presented here was generated as part of a study into the oligomeric status of the membrane transporter protein, MmpL3, from mycobacterium species. Multiple high resolution X-ray crystal and cryo-EM structures have revealed that MmpL3 is monomeric. Here we utilised a range of techniques; SDS and native PAGE, analytical ultracentrifugation, native MS, sucrose gradient sedimentation, Cryo-EM analysis and MD simulations to provide very strong evidence that MmpL3 exists as a dimer in a range of membrane mimetic systems (detergents, SMALPs and reconstituted nanodiscs.
