Transcriptome Effects of the knockout of Intraflagellar Transport 88 gene in mitral leaflets and in mitral leaflets with mutations in Dzip1

The genes Ift88 and Dzip1 are critical for primary cilium biogenesis, the objective this study was to determine the transcriptome changes in Mitral leaflets in these genetic deficiencies. Overall design: Examination of transcriptome changes in in vivo model organism knockout of the gene Ift88 or in the context of a pathogenic Dzip1 mutation.
