IBTrACS Tropical Cyclone Dataset with Reconstructed Radius of Maximum Wind for Storm Surge and Wave Modeling

This dataset provides a global subset (1957–2025) of key variables from the IBTrACS Tropical Cyclone Dataset required for tropical cyclone wind-field reconstruction in storm surge and wave modeling. The dataset is augmented with theory-based esiamtes of the radius of maximum wind (Rmax) (Wang et al., 2026), derived using the theoretical CLE15 wind profile model, as well as quadrant-maximum radii of 34-, 50-, and 64-knot winds (R34, R50, and R64).
