Unravelling the impact of intestinal microbiota on host transcriptomics in gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata) juveniles fed non-conventional feed ingredients

In the present study, we focused on gut health indicators using samples coming from the study of Fernandes et al. (2021) to address the main effects of PAP- and non-PAP feed ingredients on the composition of the mucosal adherent bacteria from anterior intestine (AI) in association with changes of the host transcriptomic profile of selected markers of intestine function and integrity. These samples come from the 16S metagenomics analysis sequencing.
