Identify and clarify the different growth mechanisms in fluid systems where hydrodynamics is relevant, particularly during phase separation near the critical point. To investigate the role of fluctuating hydrodynamics (Brownian motion and local hydrodynamic interactions) in the coarsening of domains, especially when the equilibrium volume fraction of the new phase is minimal. To analyze the growth kinetics of new experiments performed at very low volume fractions, taking into account fluctuation relaxation effects and Brownian motion within a hydrodynamic framework. To investigate phase transitions induced by mechanical quenches (density variations using a piston), a novel approach contrasting with traditional temperature quenches. To study the phase transition kinetics when the fluid is submitted to external vibration in low-g.
