This folder contains supplementary datasets (data summary tables, input tables for figure production, grouping of published individuals, and evaluation of hybridization capture efficiency) of the study: The Genetic History of the Southern Caucasus from the Bronze Age to the Early Middle Ages: 5000 years of genetic continuity despite high mobility.
Evaluation_of_hybridization_capture_efficiency.png: Hybridization capture (‘1240k’) efficiency to evaluate possible batch effects for genomic libraries. A. A scatterplot of unique mapping reads onto the reference genome after quality filtering steps against unique mapping reads to 1240k positions. It indicates comparable capture performance across different batches (annotated in distinct color shapes). Libraries that deviate belong to various batches and the lower range of human-mapped reads. B. As different probes are pooled to create the 1240k array capture, this scatterplot evaluates if the coverage on 1240k positions scales up with an increase in on-target reads. In both plots, a log10 transformation is applied on both axes.
Supplementary_datasets.xlsx includes four sheets: 1. Essential summary of archaeological sites presented in this study; 2. IBD sharing estimated with ancIBD over all chromosomes for the pairs presented in Figure 5A; 3. Summary output of hapROH per individual with metadata information as mentioned in the Star Methods and the Results; 4. Details on the published data used in our analyses and the group ID applied.
