Changes in cellular processes as crucial defects in pathogenesis of mucopolysaccharidoses.

The project involves a comprehensive study of changes in cellular processes in inherited metabolic diseases from the group of mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS). The studies were carried out on fibroblasts taken from patients with all types / subtypes of MPS. The results obtained may point to new, previously unknown aspects of the pathogenesis of this rare disease.
