Etsy: most popular purchase categories 2020, by sales

In 2020, homewares and home furnishings were the top sales category on Etsy.com, generating 3.2 billion U.S. dollars in gross merchandise sales. Personal jewelry and accessories ranked second, with a GMS of 1.6 billion dollars, followed in third place by craft supplies, for 1.2 billion.
