资源简介:
A total of 15 floated light fractions from sites SW 431.54 (LA138977), SW 431.59 (LA138982) and
SW 431.60 (LA138983) on the Lee Ranch Mine in northwest New Mexico were examined for macrofloral
remains. These samples represent a Late Archaic/Basketmaker midden area in front of a rockshelter and two thermal features (431.54), a historic ash dump/midden area with associated thermal features
(431.59), and a Middle Archaic San Jose thermal feature (431.60). Macrofloral analysis is used to provide information concerning plant resources exploited by prehistoric and historic peoples in the San Mateo Basin.
