GLOBAL COMPETENCE AS A KEY COMPONENT OF 21ST CENTURY TEACHER EDUCATION

This article examines global competence as one of the essential components of 21st century teacher education. In the modern era of globalization, digital communication, international cooperation, and cultural diversity, teachers are expected to possess not only professional and pedagogical knowledge but also the ability to function effectively in multicultural and interconnected environments. The paper discusses the concept of global competence, its main dimensions, and its significance in preparing future educators for contemporary educational challenges.
