Map descriptions from Generative AI models

This dataset accompanies a paper on the potential of generative AI models to generate accessible descriptions of maps based on the image of the map. The dataset contains first a json file compiling all the descriptions (9 models, 15 maps) in a standardised way. The zip file contains all annotations, curated by the authors, using the TSV format. The annotations tag the toponyms and the spatial relations in the descriptions. Finally, the excel file reports the evaluation of errors in all the descriptions.
