MODIS是搭载在terra和aqua卫星上的一个重要的传感器，是卫星上唯一将实时观测数据通过x波段向全世界直接广播，并可以免费接收数据并无偿使用的星载仪器。MOD04是大气2、3级标准数据产品，内容为气溶胶产品，Lambert投影空间分辨率1公里，地理坐标30秒空间分辨率，每日数据为2级数据产品，每旬、每月数据合成为3级数据产品。

MODIS is an important sensor onboard the Terra and Aqua satellites. It is the only on-board instrument on these satellites that directly broadcasts real-time observation data to the entire world via the X-band, and allows free reception and uncompensated use of the data. MOD04 is a Level 2 and 3 standard atmospheric data product focused on aerosols. It adopts the Lambert projection with a spatial resolution of 1 km, and has a geographic coordinate resolution of 30 arc-seconds. Daily datasets are classified as Level 2 products, while dekadal and monthly datasets are synthesized into Level 3 products.
