The datasets were used for the submitted paper "Tonne-year accounting reveals substantially longer rotations maximize long-term carbon sequestration in planted forests" for consideration for publication at Global Change Biology. The file "Data for Figures.xlsx" contains four sheets corresponding to the four figures in the paper, namely Sheet#1 represents the development of carbon stocks (root, stem, branch and leaf) and timber volume of different assortments (large-, middle-, small-, fire- and waste-wood, and bark) with stand age; Sheet#2 represents the decomposition processes of different timber assortments. Sheet#3 represents the estimated annual and average increments of stand volume, carbon stocks and tonne-years; Sheet#4 represents the optimal rotations and their corresponding stand volume, carbon stocks and tonne-years for different planting densities The file "Data for Section 3.5.xlsx" contains only one sheet used for Section 3.5 of the paper. The fire "Code for Section 3.5.R" is the used R code with the dataset of "Data for Section 3.5.xlsx" of Section 3.5.
