Sequencing data and results of metabarcoding from Interior Alaskan freshwater environments to isolate fish pathogen Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae and its intertebrate hosts from eDNA, 2022-2023.

Findings include results of qPCR for fish pathogen Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae and outputs from the metabarcording approach to isolate genomic material from the intermediate bryozoan host. All sampling locations in Alaska. Project timeline 1/1/23 - 9/30/23.

This dataset contains results of qPCR and metabarcoding FastQ files from eDNA filters collected in Alaska as part of the AK NSF EPSCoR Fire and Ice program.The dataset includes outputs from qPCR's on extracted DNA designed to isolate T. bryosalmonae genomic material, as well as FASTQ files and a summary table of results from a metabarcoding approach designed to surveil for presence of a subset of bryozoan species: specifically, those known to act as hosts of T. bryosalmonae.
