NPL coverage ratio of Kakao Bank 2017-2023

As of December 2023, the coverage ratio of non-performing loans of Kakao Bank stood at around 236.77 percent, a decrease from 259.13 percent in the same period of the previous year. Founded in January 2016 as one of the first digital (internet-only) banks in South Korea, Kakao Bank attracted over ten million customers within just two years after starting operations in July 2017.
