Topics covered in this survey include whether the respondent is satisfied with the official weather forecasts for this area; whether the Federal Government should spend more than $33 million this year providing weather information and forecasts; whether judges and courts are too lenient, too severe or impose about the right penalty for crimes including murder, hold-ups, vandalism, burglary, rape and other personal assaults; the job performance of Mr Fraser as Prime Minister and of Mr Whitlam as leader of the opposition; wage indexation; the length of time since the respondent last attended church; whether the respondent believes in a God who is the Creator and Ruler of the entire universe and in Jesus Christ as a Saviour of mankind; and, the respondent's religion. Background variables include age, sex, income, occupation of self and head of household, telephone ownership, type and tenure of dwelling, voting enrolment, and vote intention.
