This study investigated the effects of CLK inhibitors, particularly C81 and MU1210, on angiogenic processes in vitro and in vivo. We revealed that CLK inhibition impedes angiogenesis through an abrogation of VEGFR2 protein expression, which was partly caused by a reduction of WNT/β-catenin activity.
