Gene expression profile of submandibular gland from IgG4 related disease patients at a single cell level.

IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is an autoimmune disease with an unknown etiology. In this study, we focused on non-hematopoietic cells in the submandibular gland of IgG4-RD patients. Through single-cell RNA sequencing, our aim was to unravel the contributions of these cells to the development and progression of IgG4-RD. Overall design: CD45– cells from the submandibular glands of IgG4-RD patients were sorted using FACS and subsequently underwent single-cell RNA-sequencing utilizing the 10X Genomics platform. As a comparative control, cells from the submandibular glands of neck cancer patients were also included in the analysis.
