资源简介:
Sea surface topography, absorption, scattering, attenuation coefficients, and other data were collected using satellite sensor in a World wide distribution from March 01, 1985 to Setpember 30, 1986. Data were submitted by US Navy; Scientific.
Global Crossover Difference Data derived from Wind-wave observations collected during the first phase of operations of the U.S. Navy Geodetic Satellite (GEOSAT).
This accession contains data files containing satellite altimeter Wind-Wave data collected as part of GEOSAT, primary mission for the months of May 1985, April-June 1985, August-September 1985, October-December 1985 and January-March 1986. These data were submitted to NODC by the U.S. Navy via Johns Hopkins APL and NOAA/NOS. Each file represents one day observations. The parameters include: time, latitude, longitude, significant wave height, radar cross-section, and wind speed.
