Anger makes fake news viral online

The data set is used in our working paper entitled "Anger makes fake news viral online", which can be cited as:<br>Yuwei Chuai, Jichang Zhao. Anger makes fake news viral online. arXiv:2004.10399, 2020. https://arxiv.org/abs/2004.10399<br>It contains four files (directories) as follows:<br>1. emotion_lexicon is a directory, which includes five files of words that can be used to infer the emotions of anger, disgust, fear, joy and sadness, which is manually labeled.<br>2. keywords.xlsx is a file of 150 keywords and their English translations in our paper. More details of these keywords can be found in Figure S7.<br>3. main_data.csv is the file of fake news and real news in the paper, which contains detailed columns that used in model inference. Each line represents a news and its attributes are listed as columns.<br>4. questionaire_data is a directory, which includes two files of the complete records of responses collected in our questionnaires. Specifically, marked.csv contains responses collected in the questionnaires with keywords marked and unmarked.csv contains responses collected in the questionnaires without keywords highlighted. In both files, each line represents a response from a subject and columns list the details of the response. More details can be found in S11 and S12 of the paper.<br>5.
