This dataset supports the manuscript "The trophic and energetic role of the Neotropical otter revealed through the Otter Long-Term Ecological Monitoring Protocol (OLTEMP)" submitted to Biota Neotropica. It includes scat occurrence records (2003–2024), diet analysis results, aquatic macrophyte survey data, fish community abundance/biomass, and emergy calculation spreadsheets. All data were collected at Lagoa do Peri, Florianópolis, SC, Brazil.
