ERATO

We propose a novel task named Pairwise Emotional Relationship Recognition (PERR) and a dataset named ERATO. The task of PERR is defined as identifying the category of emotional relationship between two interacting characters in a given video clip. The emotional relationship categories in the ERATO dataset are defined under two scales: one is the coarse-grained scale covering positive, neutral and negative, while the other is the fine-grained scale covering hostile, tense, mild, intimate and neutral.
