资源简介:
The Experimental Setup.csv file represents the setup of the centrifugal pump for all experimental data used in FIG 9, 15, and 17. This consists of the length, tilt, and radius of the straw, as well as the equilibrium contact angle of water on the straw walls. The other 3 .csv files represent the experimental conditions (combination of depth of immersion and angular velocity) where Pumping, Hysteresis and Stationary Modes appear in FIG 17. Pumping Mode - Experimental Conditions where the thin-tube centrifugal pump always pumps. Hysteresis Mode - Experimental Conditions where pumping only occurs if the straws are filled. Stationary Mode - Experimental Condition where pumping never occurs, and stable menisci will always be present within both straws. In FIG 9, we plot the experimental conditions where the thin-tube centrifugal pump starts pumping, and where it does not start pumping, given the initial conditions of unfilled straws. The "start pumping" data is identical to the Pumping Mode data, while the "does not start pumping" data is the superset of Hysteresis and Stationary Mode data. In FIG 15, we plot the experimental conditions where the thin-tube centrifugal pump keeps pumping, and where the pump stops pumping, given the initial conditions of fully filled straws that pump out water. The "keep pumping" data is the superset of Pumping and Hysteresis Mode data, while the "stop pumping" data is identical to the Stationary Mode data.
