Cross-sectional data: clinical characteristics and UGT1A1 genotype/phenotype data for cancer patients of African ancestry- Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals, Zimbabwe

Cross-sectional clinical and genetic study data from Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare, Zimbabwe (2022). Ninety cancer patients eligible for irinotecan-based chemotherapy were enrolled following informed consent. The resulting dataset comprises anonymised demographic, clinical information, targeted Sanger sequencing results fro UGT1A1 genotype and assigned phenotype categories.
