Predicting the effects of milder winters on the energy and water balance of a warm-temperate hibernator

The raw dataset consists of the respirometry data collected for Myotis macropus from western Sydney. Individuals were experimented under dry conditions inside the respirometry chamber. In the dataset, we provide bat id, sex, mass, Tcab (air temperature category), Ta (actual air temperature inside the chamber), Tb (subcutaneous body temperature), waEWL (whole animal evaporative water loss in grams per hour), waMR (whole animal metabolic rate in Watts) and state (torpid or euthermic). The first sheet in the dataset consists of torpid data and the second sheet consists of euthermic data.
