The colonic microbial profiles of weaned piglets treated with zinc lactate or D-galactose

Twenty-eight healthy piglets (Duroc _ Landrace _Yorkshire), weaned at 28 dwere randomly allocated to 2 * 2 factorial arrangements. The two main factors were different sources of Zn (80 mg/kg Zn from ZnSO4 or ZL) and D_gal challenge (0 or 10 g/kg/d BW of D-gal). The piglets were allocated into four groups (CON, ZL, D-gal, and D_gal+ZL).
