DiazoDB: Interactive Nitrogenase Web Database
收藏资源简介:
DiazoDB is a web-based database and analysis platform to explore the diversity and evolutionary history of 7,500 diazotrophs (organisms that fix nitrogen) and their nitrogenase sequences. DiazoDB provides context-aware nitrogenase annotations, including information on each gene cluster's regulation, genomic neightborhood, and host organism. The main website features an interactive nitrogenase phylogenetic tree, enabling users to explore evolutionary relationships among nitrogenase sequences. All the data contained within DiazoDB are publicly accessible and searchable, with downloads available on the database page in fasta and csv formats. The underlying database is curated from the Genome Taxonomy Database (R232) using a custom annotation pipeline built on profile hidden Markov models and refined with biochemically-informed filtering. In addition to exploring existing data, users can submit their own metagenomic or whole genome sequencing data through the website for custom nitrogenase annotation and figure generation. Annotation results are emailed to users upon job completion. Learn more and explore the database at https://diazodb.caltech.edu!
