This series contains the records of the Standing Committee on Agriculture Co-ordinating Committee on Agricultural Chemicals. The Coordinating Committee on Agricultural Chemicals (CCAC) was a technical committee established under the Australian Agricultural Council (AAC) and the Standing Committee on Agriculture (SCA). CCAC had a primary role in the informal arrangements by which the clearance of agricultural and veterinary chemicals were coordinated from 1963 until the commencement of the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Act 1988 (Act no. 91, 1988).  CCAC continued to provide advice to AAC and SCA on the technical and administrative implications of Government policies in the field of agricultural chemicals.
