Windsor Road is a major north/south arterial link serving the growing North West Sector of Sydney. The route acts as a major transport route linking the North West Sector to employment and commercial centres at Parramatta and Blacktown and other areas in the Sydney Metropolitan Area. In order to accommodate the growth of the North West Sector of Sydney the NSW Government has developed a program for the upgrade of Windsor Road. This document discusses issues in relation to the various road construction projects that make up the Windsor Road upgrade in order to provide some foresight in the planning and design of these road projects.\n\n**Note:** This resource was originally published on opengov.nsw.gov.au.
