EMS02 barcoded yeast collection

We have constructed a collection of >1000 haploid yeast strains (S. cerevisiae) obtained by ethyl methanesulfonate (EMS) mutagenesis and >100 control strains that were not exposed to EMS. All strains contain a unique barcode inserted at the ho locus in their genome that can be used for genotype identification in RNA-seq and DNA-seq data. This study contains short read sequencing data obtained from genomic DNA of hundreds of mutant and control strains from this collection that can be used to identify EMS-induced mutations, background mutations and genomic barcode sequences.
