SE.ACMF Hydrological observations – snow density

Purpose: Describes the current and historical hydrological state in Sweden. Unit: g/cm³ and mm Characteristics: Information on the density of snow and the water content of snow in Sweden. Network information: — SMHI station network: Data is collected and stored in SMHI’s databases. Data is checked for plausibility, which means that incorrect data is corrected and data loss is supplemented based on expert judgement where possible. Physical stations are continuously monitored, inspected and maintained by SMHI. — Other stations: The stations are not part of SMHI’s station network, but data is collected and stored in SMHI’s databases by agreement with a third party. Quality codes: Green (G) = verified and accepted values. Yellow (Y) = Coarsely controlled values, suspicious or aggregated values. Orange (O) = uncontrolled values
