The invention relates to a load frame (1) for clamping a test specimen (2) in a test stand， which comprises a layer structure formed from plates (11) with a continuous recess for receiving the test specimen (2). An axis (X) of the continuous recess runs orthogonally to a stacking direction (S) of the layer structure. The invention also relates to a test bench system and a method for clamping a test specimen in a test bench.
