Volume of cargo traffic at the Port Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea 2016-2023

The annual volume of cargo handled at the Port Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea mainly increased, despite the drop recorded in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. After the first year of the pandemic, the cargo volume rebounded to over 63.5 million metric tons in 2021, and continued to increase to 66.23 million metric tons in 2022, As of September 2023, cargo traffic at the Port Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea amounted to 48.65 million metric tons.
