Data from: Evaluation of Xpert® MTB/RIF assay in induced sputum and gastric lavage samples from young children with suspected tuberculosis from the MVA85A TB vaccine trial

These data were derived from an infant Tuberculosis disease vaccine trial conducted near Cape Town in South Africa, sub-Saharan Africa. We included diagnostic data that enabled us to evaluate diagnostic accuracy of Xpert MTB/RIF in induced sputum as compared to gastric lavage.
